Flamingo tie neck blouse: Goodnight Macaroon, I also love this tshirt, this pink one with flutter sleeves and this ruffled tiered tank. And for the fall, this navy blouse would be perfect. // Striped shorts: LOFT, Mine are petite but they also come in non petite sizes. These tie waist shorts are super cute as well. // Espadrilles: Target, It also comes in a tan/cream color combo. // Purse: This was a limited edition bag so it's no longer available, but it comes in gold leather. This bag is similar and under $100 // Bracelet: LUISAVIAROMA // Lipcolor: Estee Lauder in 'Bare Instinct'
It's Wednesday and you know what that means? We wear pink...pink flamingos that is! I mean with a blouse this cute, how can you not want to wear it? Okay, maybe that's just something I do, but you know you want to get in on the fun too. Use the hashtag #pinkflamingowednesday to share your favorite flamingo things with me on Instagram or Twitter.
Though you could totally wear this top to the office with a pair of black pants and a blazer, it works just as well with a pair of striped shorts for the weekend. I paired it with these espadrilles I picked up at Target before our trip to California and let me just say they were super comfortable! I had no problem walking around in them all day and will definitely be taking them with me on my next trip.
And speaking of trips....one of my goals for 2017 was to travel more, but I had no idea I would be able to travel to so many places AND get the opportunity to go overseas again! God is faithful and sure works in mysterious ways, but I am so thankful for every opportunity I'll have this year. I'll be getting to visit Chicago some time other than during the dead of winter, explore more of Columbus, see my new niece, check out Dallas for the weekend and spend some more time back in Rome and take a cruise through the Grecian Islands!
I cannot tell you how excited I am and how much I'm looking forward to all these trips! But not just because I'm getting to break up my normal routine, but because I'll get to see family and friends, experience new cultures, try amazing food, learn and see the world from a new perspective. I'm truly blessed and still can't believe that I'm getting all these amazing opportunities.
Don't worry, I'll definitely be sharing my adventures on Facebook and Instatories so you'll want to be sure to follow along. I had no idea when this year started that this is what my calendar would look like. It's going to be a whirlwind, but I'm so ready for it! So if you've been to any of these places, please leave your suggestion, recommendations and comments below. What do your summer plans look like?
