Day Look Navy dress: Mine is sold out, but this v neck bell sleeve dress or this luxe velvet dress are also perfect. // Boots: I love this riding boot because it's waterproof and I love this pair for under $75 // Faux fur vest: Similar vest and this blush vest is giving me all the heart eyes. // Pearl necklace: Similar necklace // Cross body: Love this bag with a tassel and this classic bag and that they're both under $30!
Night Look Navy dress: Wayf, I also love this midi length sweater dress. // Leopard heels: Love this similar pair for under $30 and I love this pair with cut out sides. // Necklace: This similar Bauble Bar necklace is really fun and I love this one with tassels. // Blush clutch: I picked up my clutch in Italy, but I love this simple clutch and this envelope clutch.
I can't believe that Labor Day is here and that pumpkin season has arrived! I'm so excited that I was able to kick off the season with apple picking and apple cider doughnuts. It was even cold enough to wear boots, a jacket and a blanket scarf!...You know I was in fall heaven. And with the arrival of fall that means I'm gearing up for a calendar full of all kinds of fall fun.
When summer ends, it feels like time starts flying by and before you know it it's the holidays. I'm already excited because my calendar is filled with birthdays, our anniversary, a few weekend getaways and of course I'll be squeezing in time for new fall recipes, football and tackling the rest of last year's fall bucket list. So that means that there are days when things are scheduled back to back, so being able to dress for any occasion in a snap is a must. Luckily, I found this navy bell sleeve dress that will allow me to go from day to night with just a few accessory changes. Today I'm sharing how I created two different looks with this classic dress.
I love this dress because it's a modern take on the a classic A line dress. The dress is tailored at the waist to create that hourglass figure, but the sleeves added a fun twist to the dress. I'll admit that it took me a while to get on the bell sleeve boat because some of them are really voluminous and that just looks silly on me. Since these sleeves were more structured with the ties at the wrist, the volume didn't feel out of control. I also loved the flirty length. It's not too short, but it's not so long that it feels matronly.
When it comes to dressing for the fall, I love wearing faux fur vests and boots. They make any outfit feel extra cozy and chic, plus boots with a dress are one of my go to outfits for the fall. This faux fur vest adds that luxe touch with zero effort and is a great way to layer when it starts to get colder. I finished off the look with a classic long pearl necklace (you can never go wrong with pearls) and a nude cross body bag. It's the perfect outfit for a casual brunch look or day of meetings.
Date Night Look
After a busy day, I'll admit that I'm not always super motivated to get changed for the evening's activity. But luckily, you don't have to with this dress (last seen here). Take off the vest, swap out the boots for some fierce leopard heels, put on a statement necklace, grab your blush clutch and be out the door. How easy is that?! That's why I love this dress and know that it will be one of my favorite dresses this fall.
