It’s an extra special day on the blog. Want to know why? It’s Wine Wednesday! Since bubbles are one of my favorite and it’s been while since I’ve shared some with you, I decided today was the perfect day to grab a glass of champagne and celebrate making it halfway through the week.
I’ve always been romanticized by the idea of Paris and ever since having a layover there, I have been dying to go back. So until I can get back to Paris, I’ve tried to find all things French to pretend like I’m back there. A new restaurant opened up in the River Oaks Shopping District called Toulouse and I knew I needed to go check it out. It has a quaint patio, completed with a red and white striped awning. The inside is open, airy and bright.
I’ll be honest when I saw this flamingo blouse, I pretty much flipped and knew that it needed to make its way into my closet. It was the perfect piece to add for spring and summer. I’ve worn it a few times already and have gotten so many compliments on it! I guess I’m not the only one who has a thing for flamingos….
So as promised here, I’m giving you a detailed review of my visit to Karbach Brewery. I’ve been to other breweries in Houston and have heard great reviews about Karbach, but for some reason haven’t been able to make it. So I decided it was the perfect place for a surprise date day with Evan.
I was so very excited to be a part of the first Houston Blogger Union event! The Blogger Union was founded in Florida as a way to bring the local blogging community together. Luckily, Houston now has a chapter thanks to Jillian who is the force behind Cup of Charisma. The inaugural meeting was an in-depth Q&A with Ashley Rose, the founder of Sugar & Cloth.
