Time to break out the holiday attire that you’ve been waiting to wear all year! I know that it’s usually reserved for a fancy party or cocktail event, but I couldn’t wait to wear this fun red skirt so I decided to be a rebel and wear it during the day…gasp!
This weekend, E and I decided to check out the Christmas dinner at Backstreet Cafe. I mean with carolers, delicious food and Santa in attendance, how could I say no to that?!
Happy Monday! This week’s gift guide is for your girlfriends, the ladies that you can’t live without. Whether she’s a fashionista, a beauty guru or the girl you go to for all your etiquette questions, she deserves a gift that’s as perfect as she is.
The weather in Fredericksburg was definitely very festive while we were there. It was pretty chilly and drizzly….perfect for a cup of hot cocoa and lots of layers (and a fur scarf of course). Being from the North has its advantages in that I don’t let the weather keep me from exploring. We walked around the main street and did a little shopping.
This year was a first for me… I didn’t do any Black Friday shopping. I know…it was totally weird. Our day after Thanksgiving plans started off with breakfast at the local German joint and walking around the main street plaza. The pace of life in Fredericksburg is much slower than Houston, which is a nice escape for me.
